Introducing the New Wrapped Gift Experience
We’ve introduced a new way to offer gift options with Wrapped — designed to give you more control, better compatibility, and a smoother experience for your customers, especially on small screens and cart drawers. It’s a more flexible approach to gifting that’s easier to set up, easier to manage, and built to work better with your store.
Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:
Performance that won’t get in the way
The new experience adds a simple launch button to your theme — everything else loads in a lightweight, self-contained view after it’s opened. That means faster load times, fewer layout issues, and better compatibility with other apps.
Improved small screen experience
Optimized for cart drawers and compact layouts, the new experience keeps key actions — like close and save — fixed and easy to access. On mobile, it opens in a full-screen, touch-friendly view that makes it easy for customers to complete the gifting flow without missing important details.
More ways to personalize
If you're using Advanced Mode, you can now use Shopify’s adaptive variant selectors — like swatches, dropdowns, and selector buttons — to create multiple gift option combinations. These selectors automatically match the type of variant you choose (e.g. color shows as swatches), making it more intuitive for your customers and giving you more flexibility to design a unique gifting experience.
Settings that fit any brand
We’ve refined the visual settings for Gift Blocks to give you more flexibility and control. You can now adjust the scale of typography and spacing, customize border size and color for individual elements, and choose between light or dark hover styles — all directly from the theme editor — making it easier to align the look and feel with your storefront and brand.
Coming from the legacy setup?
