Getting started with Wrapped

Welcome to Wrapped, we're thrilled to have you here!

In a few short steps, your store will be ready to start offering a seamless gifting experience to your customers, driving more sales and increasing your average order value.


Step 1: Select a Gift Option to customize

There are two different Gift Option types, you can select one or both to customize.

  1. Order Gift Options

    Allow customers to gift their entire order

  2. Product Gift Options

    Allow customers to gift individual items in their order


Step 2: Customize your Gift Offering

There are tons of customization options, include Gift Messaging features and creating a Gift Product so you can charge a fee and/or offer multiple options for customers to choose from.


Step 3: Turn on Gift Blocks

Gift Blocks tell your storefront how and where your Gift Options will show up. You can turn on one or all of them, for both Gift Option types. Product page gift options are unique to Product Gift Options.

  1. Cart Page - Appears above the 'checkout' button on the cart page
  2. Cart Drawer - Appears above the 'checkout' button on the cart drawer
  3. Product Page - Appears above the 'add to cart' button on the product page
  4. Checkout Page - Appears above the total in the order summary on Shopify checkout

Note: Checkout Gift Blocks are only available for Shopify PLUS stores using Shopify checkout.


Step 4: Activate Gift Options

Once you've customized your Gift Options the way you like and turned on Gift Blocks, you can set your Gift Option from Draft to Active, then click Save.


Step 5: Activate Wrapped in your storefront theme

Lastly, the app needs to be activated in your theme.

You can do so by visiting the Themes section in Wrapped. Click Activate beside the theme you'd like Gift Options to be visible on, this will lead you to the Shopify theme editor, where you can make all the visual customizations to your Gift Options.

Once you're happy with how they look, don't forget to click Save.
