Will Wrapped work with my cart drawer?
Short answer, yes. Wrapped will work with most built-in cart drawers and third party cart drawers.
Theme drawers
The most popular themes from the Shopify theme store will include a cart drawer option without needing an extra third party app. If you are not seeing your gift blocks appear in the cart drawer – contact the Wrapped support team for assistance.

Wrapped will work with most third party cart drawers automatically without any extra effort.

- You must turn off "Render in Shadow DOM" in Upcart's advanced settings.
Important notes:
- Wrapped may not integrate with cart drawers using Shadow DOMs. This is a technical constraint and the Wrapped support team may assist with selecting a suitable alternative from the list above.
- Not all third party cart drawers are designed with other app integrations in-mind. Therefore screen real estate may be limited and compact versions of gift blocks are recommended to save space.
- Certain cart drawers require a full page refresh to see the changes being made. You can turn this on or off in the cart drawer gift block settings in Wrapped.
Custom built cart drawers
If your store has hired a developer and they've built you a custom cart drawer. They can assist you with your integration using the Developer Tools found in your gift option settings. This allows your developer to customize the positioning and behaviour of the gift block in your custom cart drawer.
Due to the complex nature of custom built cart drawers Wrapped support team is unable to assist with integration. Please speak with the developer of the custom drawer instead.
