How do Order settings work?

Use order settings to display customer selected gift options in the Shopify order admin.

When customers add gift options to their order, the options they’ve selected along with any gift messages will appear on their order details within your Shopify Admin.

With Wrapped you can display these customer details in one of two ways. These settings are found in the Wrapped app under the "Order settings" section.

Order attributes

Displayed on the Order page in the Shopify Admin, on the side of the page below "Notes".

All selected gift options and messages will appear below the “Notes” section, on the side of the order details in your Shopify Admin. These details will not be shown on your packing slips.

This information is not available on the packing slip template, but will appear when the order is printed. This information is also available in the Order CSV when exporting.

The image below shows the Order Attributes (Additional Details) on the right side of the page. It shows both the product/item and customer selected gift option.

Line-item properties

Displayed on the Order page in the Shopify Admin, below the product title.

All selected gift options and messages will appear below the product title as a line item property. This setting is required when using packing slips for order fulfillment.

This information is available on the packing slip template, and we've included a snippet for you to add to it. This information is not available in the Order CSV when exporting.
