Setting a Pricing Rule to charge customers

Decide how you'd like your customers to pay when they add gift options to their order.

Wrapped comes with various Pricing Rules to suit your needs.

You may change the pricing rules within the Wrapped app, under the Gift Options section. There are three different rules you may choose from:

Pay once for the entire order

The customer pays a flat rate on gift options for their entire order. Recommended when price is set to $0 / offering complementary gift wrap / gift box. With this pricing rule, the customer would pay the same amount regardless of how many items are in their cart.

Pay per product SKU

The customer pays once for each unique product SKU with gift options added. With this pricing rule, the customer would pay for each unique SKU in their cart, regardless of the quantity of each SKU.

Pay per product quantity

The customer pays for each unique product SKU with gift options added, multiplied by the quantity of each product.

With this pricing rule, the customer would pay for each item multiplied by the quantity of the items. If the customer had two products in their cart, and the first item had quantity: 1 and the second item had quantity: 2 - the customer would pay for 3.

I have changed my pricing rule - now what?

After you have changed the pricing rule inside of the Wrapped app, return to your theme editor cart page or online store cart page, and refresh the browser window. The shopping cart subtotal will then update based on the pricing rule you have just selected.

If you do not see any change, wait for a couple of seconds, and try refreshing the browser window once more.
