September 2025 Updates

Checkout Gift Blocks:

• NEW: Gift Product image preview in checkout

  Checkout gift blocks now display a preview image of the selected gift wrapping option, helping customers visualize their choice before completing their purchase.

• NEW: Smart checkout gift display

  Gift blocks in checkout now show a simple toggle when no variants are configured, or a full modal when customization options are available. No more unnecessary clicks for basic gift wrapping!

• NEW: Delivery method messages for checkout gift blocks

  When gift options aren't available for pickup or shipping orders in checkout, customers now see helpful explanations instead of options disappearing silently.

• NEW: Improved checkout gift form validation

  Required gift fields in checkout now show clear error messages, ensuring customers provide all necessary personalization details before completing their order.

• NEW: Enhanced checkout gift block buttons

  Gift block actions in checkout now feature improved loading states, clearer Save/Remove buttons with icons, and better visual hierarchy for a smoother experience.

Onboarding:

• NEW: Enhanced onboarding experience for new and returning stores

  Interactive setup guide that walks new merchants through gift option configuration step-by-step. The onboarding now dynamically adapts to your store's needs and includes progress tracking, making it easier than ever to get started with Wrapped.

• NEW: Improved experience in-app when connecting, disconnecting, and managing gift products.
• NEW: Added new feature and plan comparisons, simplified all plans and features.

Storefront Gift Blocks:

• NEW: Improved Third-Party Cart Drawer Compatibility

  Enhanced support for popular cart drawer apps including Rebuy, AMP Slide Cart, and others. Wrapped now automatically detects and adapts to your existing cart setup, preventing conflicts and ensuring gift options display properly regardless of your cart drawer configuration

Someone once said "You never update the Wrapped", and then they uninstalled.

Fair enough. But also...

We thought it would be useful to start sharing just how often Wrapped is updated.

Wrapped launched years ago, September 2021. Since then we've helped more than ten thousand stores offer gift options to their customers. Wrapped is constantly being updated to stay current with all of the Shopify platform APIs and on-going requirements.
