What are Gifting Attributes?

When customers choose gift options in your store—like adding a gift message or selecting gift wrap—these choices are saved as gifting attributes.
Think of them as special notes attached to the order, helping you know exactly what the customer wants.
These attributes are stored in the Order details and can appear in different places depending on which gift options you have turned on:
Gifting for Products:
Details tied to individual products, such as a gift message for a specific item.
These attributes are displayed below each product title in the Order.
Gifting for Orders:
Information that applies to the entire order, like a general note to the seller.
These attributes are displayed below the Order note. Additionally, when using Advanced mode gift options, gift messaging attributes will be displayed below the gift product line.
For example, if a customer adds a gift message to a product, this message will appear below the product title in the order details. If they add a gift note for the entire order, it will show up below the order notes section.
