Gift Options: Pricing Modes

Gifting for Orders

The price mode is available when the gift option has a connected gift product.

This gift option has different pricing modes you can choose between:

None

This mode will ensure the gift option is added as a flat-fee, but the customer may manually increase to add more. Wrapped will not reset the quantity of the gift option in this mode.

Order (flat-rate)

This mode will add a single gift option fee to the order, regardless of the total number of items in the cart. This is best thought of as a flat-fee, and does not change when items are added or removed.

Product (per-item)

This mode will calculate the gift option price based on the number of line-items in the cart.

Product SKU (per-item)

This mode will calculate the gift option price based on the number of unique line-items in the cart based on the SKU for each line-item.

Product Quantity (per-item)

This mode will calculate the gift option price based on the total quantity of items in the cart.

Gifting for Products

This gift option calculates gift option pricing based on the quantity of the line-item it is being added on. The customer may also add the same item to the cart multiple times and add different gift options to each line-item.

As there is only one charge mode when using Gifting for Products, there is no setting available to change in the Gift option settings.
