How do I hide gift options for some of my Shopify customers?
Sometimes it is important for your business to not offer gift options to specific types of customers (ie: Wholesale customers).
A Customer Filter is how you tell Wrapped to hide gift option widgets for a specific customer. Wrapped uses customer tags on the customer profile to indicate it should be filtered.
On our Premium Plan you will have access to this feature.
Whenever you tag a customer with
wrapped:customer:disabled - the gift option widget will not appear for that customer. You can think of this as an on/off switch. Your customers will not be able to add gift options to their orders.
This feature works similar to the Product Filters feature.
When the customer is logged into your Shopify online store, they will not see gift option widgets on any product pages and/or cart pages.
