Why is the widget checkbox not active?

Quickly fix a disabled widget checkbox in your online store.

If you have noticed the widget checkbox is not active / cannot be clicked. The fix is very simple and straightforward.

This happens when the product is considered "sold out".

These steps will get you sorted:

  1. In the Wrapped app, click into the "Gift Options" section.
  2. From there, click "Wrapped product page". This link will take you directly to your Gift wrap product in the Shopify admin.

  1. Once on the Gift wrap product page, set the inventory policy in one of two ways.
    1. Turning off inventory tracking entirely
    2. Turning on inventory tracking, but continue selling when out of stock (see Fig B)

  1. Once you've made the change best suited for your business, press "Save".
  2. Return to your online store and refresh the page. The widget checkbox will now be enabled.
